How much money do we manage on behalf of our clients? (as of November 2022)

APG is one of the world's largest pension investors, with more than €521 billion invested assets. That's twice the Netherlands state budget.

In how many locations is APG located?

Our main locations are Amsterdam, Heerlen, New York and Hongkong. We also have a few satellite locations: Brussels, Beijing and Shanghai. They are however small, sometimes only one room.

How many billion do we invest, on behalf of the pension funds, in the so-called Sustainable Development Investments?

This is compared to the invested capital of 573 billion at the end of 2020. The pension funds set this ambition. APG does have its own ambition when it comes to the SDI Asset Owner Platform: we want the assets under management that apply SDIs to increase significantly.

For how many participants do we provide the pension?

Within the fund operations, we carry out the pension administration for the pension funds. We have large, stable IT systems for this, containing the agreements with the approximately 4.7 million participants and with which premiums are collected and pensions are paid.
