We roughly divide our services into 2 sub-areas: Asset Management and Administration.
Our clients consist of 8 different funds, for whom we administer. We also do asset management for 4 funds.

APG is one of the world's largest pension investors. And we are quite proud of that. In order to manage this capital for our funds as well as possible, we have the ambition to realize a good and sustainable investment return for our clients, in a responsible manner. We are a long term investor (LTRI - Long Term Responsible Investor). This distinguishes us as a pension investor from other parties in the market.
We are more than just an administrator who also invests the pension contributions of millions of Dutch people as efficiently and sustainably as possible. We administer the pension rights and ensure that we collect pension contributions on time and pay benefits on time. In addition, we also provide advice to pension funds about all these pensions, and contribute as much as possible to ensure that each of these funds maintains its own character, also in the communication with their employers and participants.
At APG we work for pension funds, employers and their participants. With this we provide the pension of one in five families in the Netherlands. This is 4.7 million people. We do everything we can to provide our customers and their participants with the best possible service.
We work for 4 clients for whom we manage the assets and take care of their pension administration:
1. ABP, the pension fund for government and education. More than 3 million participants can count on replacement income upon retirement, disability and death.
2. bpfBOUW, the pension fund for the construction industry with more than 780,000 participants.
3. SPW, Stichting Pensioenfonds voor de Housing Corporation with almost 73,000 participants
4. PPF APG, our own pension fund with more than 7500 participants. This is the pension scheme of (some of the) APG employees.
For 5 customers we only manage the administration:
1. BPF Schoonmaak (Cleaning), the industry pension fund for the cleaning and window cleaning business with almost 190,000 participants.
2. BTER. This is a cluster of different funds that implement schemes for the construction industry sectors (Construction, Bikudak, Carpentry factories) with 149,00 participants.
3. PFAB, pension for employees in the architectural sector, with almost 50,000 participants.
4. PWRI, the Pension Fund Work and (re)Integration. This is the pension fund for the Sheltered Employment Service with 200,000 participants
5. SPMS, the occupational pension fund for medical specialists with more than 18,000 participants.
