On the Chatham House Rule

To create a safe and organized yet interactive setting, we use the ‘Chatham House Rule’ as guideline in this event. This is relevant to ensure confidentiality of the discussion, which we need to create a safe environment in which everyone can speak their mind. The Chatham House Rule is as follows:

  • Topics discussed during the meeting stay within the meeting, unless it is made clear in advance that something is intended for publication.

  • Personal opinions are meant for the intimacy of the session. Only the participant can decide to express his or her opinion outside the meeting. Subsequently, there will be no quoting personal opinions of other participants than yourself.

  • Quotes will only be published anonymously.

We will be publishing an anonymized report based on the guidelines above.
