APG makes sustainable choices. Please indicate below how visible those choices are to you:
Green energy
Our Edge West office, the most sustainably renovated building in Europe, was completed in 2021. In 2022, we also want BREEAM certification (certificate for a sustainable built environment) for our building in Heerlen. We also settle in (preferably BREEAM) certified offices abroad
Waste reduction and reuse
At APG, we have the ambition to have zero (0%) waste in terms of waste as a raw material by 2030. As an interim target, we want a maximum of 10% residual waste in Dutch offices by 2022.
Working more flexibly
By 2030 we want to have achieved a CO2 reduction of 50% compared to 2018
Sustainable purchasing
We aim to have fully circular business operations by 2030.
Catering
We aim for a plant-based catering offer of 90%.
