Introducing the Reflection Board

With the Reflection Board we hope to meet our responsibilities in the best way possible, enrich relationships that will expand our usual board network and give us more grip on issues evolving in complexity, beyond the scope of managing assets. And – in the words of Frank Peters – make sure we are 'doing the right thing when no one is watching'.

The topics we discuss each drill into challenges we as APG face. By the choices we make together with our clients, we can exert influence. More and more, we feel society expects us to use that influence. However, how can we do the right thing? What is the right thing? This is a question without any single answer, given its complexity and volatility. That is why we organize this Reflection Board with these particular subjects: to reflect on complex questions, to share knowledge with other experts, and to sharpen our beliefs, ideas and goals. We want to stay in a leading position and are challenged to accelerate even faster. Therefore, it is key to broaden our perspective, share knowledge, build alliances, and collaborate.

With the reflection board we hope to meet our responsibilities in the best way possible, enrich relationships that will expand our usual board network and give us more grip on issues evolving in complexity, beyond the scope of managing assets.
