Indicate consequences

At APG we have clearly formulated why we do the things we do (our why; what is our societal purpose).

As APG, we therefore also have our own voice. It is important that we keep the goal of the Pension of the Future clear: more transparent, simpler, cheaper. We contribute to the right choices to achieve those goals. We do this in close consultation with the funds. Not as a decision maker, but as an 'expert center' that provides insight into the consequences of choices.

In doing so, we will make a strong commitment to 'the human dimension'. It is essential for the Netherlands of the Future that we fight to preserve the collective, solidarity-based pension system, which has ensured that the Netherlands has one of the best systems in the world and is one of the countries where the fewest elderly people live in poverty.

For us, pension is about people, about life and about living together. We want to make a difference so that we, our parents and our children have a good income for now, later and beyond.
